# How to Add Custom Meta Field Columns to Your Export

To add custom meta field columns in Export Products, Orders & Customers for WooCommerce, go to WPFactory > Export, open Products, Orders, or Orders Items, and set the Additional Export Meta Fields count. Save, then fill in Enabled, Title, and the meta key in Value for each field. The free version allows one field per report; Pro is unlimited.

### Where it lives

Each of these sections has an "Additional Export ... Meta Fields" control under **WPFactory > Export** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Export**):

- **Products:** Additional Export Products Meta Fields.
- **Orders:** Additional Export Orders Meta Fields.
- **Orders Items:** Additional Export Orders Items Meta Fields.

### Step by step

1. Open the relevant section and find the "Additional Export ... Meta Fields" number.
2. Set how many extra columns you want, then click **Save changes**. This is important: the input rows only appear after you save the count.
3. For each new field, fill in:
   - **Enabled:** tick to include this column.
   - **Title:** the column heading in your export file.
   - **Value:** the meta key to read (for example `_my_custom_field`).
4. Click **Save changes** again, then export as usual.

### Order Items: choosing the meta source

On the Orders Items section, each additional field has an extra **Type** dropdown:

| Type value | Reads meta from |
| --- | --- |
| Order Meta | The order the line item belongs to |
| Product Meta | The product in the line item |

### Free vs Pro

| Report | Count option ID | Free | Pro |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Products | `alg_export_products_fields_additional_total_number` | 1 | Unlimited |
| Orders | `alg_export_orders_fields_additional_total_number` | 1 | Unlimited |
| Order Items | `alg_export_orders_items_fields_additional_total_number` | 1 | Unlimited |

**Finding a meta key:** if you are not sure of the exact key, export one product or order with the standard fields first, or check the custom field on the product/order edit screen. The key is what you enter in **Value**.
