# Offer Email Notifications and Automation

The offer email system in [Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/price-offers-for-woocommerce/) is free: set the notification email in the Email section and the reject, accept, and counter emails in the Actions section, with placeholders and a custom "From" name and address. Pro adds only automation, where Auto-Accept and Auto-Reject send the responses automatically.

**Important correction:** the offer email system is **free**. Choosing recipients, customizing the subject, heading, and template, using placeholders, and sending action-specific emails for reject, accept, and counter are all available in the free version. Pro does not gate these.

### Notification email (free)

In the **Email** section you set the recipient, subject, heading, and template of the email you receive when a customer submits an offer. The recipient accepts `%admin_email%` and `%product_author_email%`. See [Email options](https://wpfactory.com/docs/email-options/).

### Action emails (free)

In the **Actions** section you write the emails sent to the customer for each response:

- **Reject:** explain why, referencing `%offered_price%` and other placeholders.
- **Accept:** confirm and include `%add_to_cart_url%` so the customer can buy at the agreed price.
- **Counter:** propose a new price with `%counter_price%`.

You can also set the **"From" name** and **"From" address** for all offer emails, and enable **Send emails in background** in the Advanced section to queue emails through the WooCommerce Action Scheduler.

### What Pro adds: automatic responses

The Pro-only piece of the email and action workflow is automation, not customization. With Pro you can:

- **Auto-Accept** offers at or above a minimum price, which sends the acceptance email automatically.
- **Auto-Reject** offers at or below a maximum price, which sends the rejection notice automatically.
