# Email Options in Name Your Price for WooCommerce

To choose who gets the new offer email and what it says, open **WPFactory > Price Offers > Email** in [Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/price-offers-for-woocommerce/). Set the **Email recipient**, **Email subject**, **Email heading** and **Email template**, then save. Every offer a customer submits is emailed there. All of these options are free.

Go to **WPFactory > Price Offers** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Price Offers**) and open the **Email** section.

## Options (all free)

| Label | Option ID | Default |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Email recipient | `alg_wc_price_offerings_email[address]` | `%admin_email%` |
| Email subject | `alg_wc_price_offerings_email[subject]` | [{site_title}]: Price offer |
| Email heading | `alg_wc_price_offerings_email[heading]` | Price offer |
| Email template | `alg_wc_price_offerings_email[template]` | Product / Offered price / From / Message |

## Set up the offer notification

1. Open **WPFactory > Price Offers > Email**.
2. In **Email recipient**, keep `%admin_email%` or enter your own addresses.
3. Adjust **Email subject** and **Email heading** if you want the email to stand out in your inbox.
4. Edit **Email template** to include the details you need, using the placeholders below.
5. Click **Save changes**, then submit a test offer from a product page to check the result.

## Email recipient

Enter one address or a comma-separated list. Two placeholders are available here:

- `%admin_email%` sends to your store's administrator email (the **Administration Email Address** under Settings > General).
- `%product_author_email%` sends to the email of the user who authored the product. This works in the free version. If the author cannot be found, the administrator email is used.

If you leave the field empty, the email goes to the administrator email. The address the offer was sent to is also saved with the offer.

## Template placeholders (all free)

The email template accepts these placeholders:

- `{site_title}`, `{site_url}` - your store name and URL.
- `%product_title%`, `%product_sku%`, `%product_url%` - the product name, SKU, and link.
- `%offered_price%`, `%currency_code%`, `%quantity%` - the offer amount, currency code, and quantity.
- `%customer_name%`, `%customer_phone%`, `%customer_email%`, `%customer_message%` - the customer's details.
- `%user_ip%`, `%user_agent%` - technical details about the sender.

For the full list across all Name Your Price emails, see the [email placeholders reference](https://wpfactory.com/docs/name-your-price-email-placeholders/).

**Tip:** the subject and heading fields accept `{site_title}` and `{site_url}` only. Product and customer placeholders belong in the template.

## What you and the customer receive

The notification is sent in your WooCommerce email design, with the heading at the top and your template as the body. The sender name and address come from **Email Sender Options** in the Actions section (by default, your WooCommerce email sender), and the customer's name and email are set as the reply-to address, so you can answer the customer directly from your inbox. If the customer ticks **Send a copy to your email** on the offer form (a form field that is enabled by default), the customer receives the same email.

The emails you send later when you reject, accept or counter an offer are set separately in the **Actions** section, see [reject and accept options](https://wpfactory.com/docs/reject-and-accept-options/).

## If the email does not arrive

- Check spam. If the **"From" address** under **Email Sender Options** (Actions section) is on a different domain than your store, mail servers may reject it. Use an address on your own domain, ideally sent through an SMTP plugin.
- If **Send emails in background** (Advanced section) is on, emails wait in the WooCommerce Action Scheduler queue. Check **Tools > Scheduled Actions** for pending `alg_wc_price_offers_send_email` actions.
- If **Prevent duplicate offers** is on, a repeated identical offer is refused and no email is sent.
- The offer is still saved even when email fails, so check the offers list in your admin.

## FAQ

### Can I send offer emails to several people?

Yes. Enter the addresses separated by commas, for example `%admin_email%, sa***@*****le.com`.

### Can each vendor or product author get their own offers?

Yes. Use `%product_author_email%` in **Email recipient**. It is free and sends each offer to the user who created that product.

### Can I show the offered price with a currency symbol?

Yes. `%offered_price%` is already formatted as a price in the currency the customer used. `%currency_code%` adds the code (for example USD) if you need it.
