# Fix Price-by-Quantity Table Display Issues

## Fix a broken or missing pricing table

If the Price by Quantity & Bulk Quantity Discounts for WooCommerce table is missing or broken after a theme or builder change, update the plugin and test with a default theme such as Storefront. For real-time price display, set the Price identifier under Price Display by Qty > Advanced Options, or place the table with the [alg_wc_product_ppq_table] shortcode.

### Symptoms

- The pricing table is missing or its layout is broken.
- Console errors mention plugin selectors.
- The table shows on some pages but not others.

### Cause

The real-time price display targets specific page elements by CSS selector. When a theme or builder changes the markup, those selectors can miss. Product-page tables are added through WooCommerce template hooks, which a heavily customized theme may not fire.

### Fix step by step

1. **Inspect the page.** Open the product page, right-click, choose Inspect, and check the console for errors and the DOM where the table should appear.
2. **Update the plugin.** Make sure you are on the latest version of Price by Quantity.
3. **Test a default theme.** Temporarily switch to Storefront or a Twenty Twenty-x theme. If the table returns, the issue is theme-related.
4. **Point the price display at the right element.** If you use real-time price display, go to **WPFactory > Product Price by Quantity > Price Display by Qty > Advanced Options** and set **Price identifier** (`alg_wc_wholesale_pricing_price_by_qty_display_id`, default `p.price`) and **Variations** (`alg_wc_wholesale_pricing_price_by_qty_display_id_variation`) to the selectors your theme uses for the price.
5. **Place a table with a shortcode.** Instead of relying on automatic output, add the table where you want it with `[alg_wc_product_ppq_table]` (or the long form `[alg_wc_product_wholesale_pricing_table]`). Pass `product_id` if you are outside a product context.

**Note:** the correct shortcodes are `[alg_wc_product_ppq_table]` and `[alg_wc_ppq_table]`. There is no `[wpfactory_price_by_quantity]` shortcode.

### Report a theme-specific issue
