# What Export WooCommerce Pro Adds

Export Products, Orders & Customers for WooCommerce Pro adds three things to the free plugin: unlimited custom meta-field columns for Products, Orders, and Order Items (free allows one per report), extra fields such as Backend Order Notes and lifetime or period customer spend and order counts, and export of customers by any user role.

### 1. Unlimited custom meta-field columns

Products, Orders, and Order Items each have an "Additional Export ... Meta Fields" control. It lets you add columns that pull from any meta key (a custom field). The free version caps this at **one** extra field per report; Pro removes the cap so you can add as many as you need.

### 2. Extra export fields

Several fields appear in the field selectors only when Pro is active:

| Orders and Order Items | Backend Order Notes |
| Customers | Total Spent (Lifetime), Order Count (Lifetime), Last Order Date |
| Customers from Orders | First Order Date, Total Spent (Lifetime), Order Count (Lifetime), Total Spent (Period), Order Count (Period), Item Count (Period) |

### 3. Export customers by any user role

On the Customers section, the **User Roles** option (`alg_export_customers_user_roles`) is disabled in the free version, which always exports the `customer` role. Pro enables the control so you can export any role or a combination of roles.

**Note:** everything else, including the CSV separator, UTF-8 BOM, secondary separators, Block Size, Time Limit, Ajax Download, User Capability, the date filter, and the Import Products tool, is free.
