# Info and Admin Sections of Payment Gateway Currency

## Info and Admin: showing conversion to shoppers and staff

Within Convert Currency, [Payment Gateway Currency for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/payment-gateways-by-currency-for-woocommerce/) has two display areas: **Info** for the storefront and emails, and **Admin** for the WordPress dashboard. Both apply once conversion is enabled, and both work in the free version for the standard gateways.

### Info (frontend)

- **Frontend info** (`alg_wc_pgbc_convert_currency_show_info`, default `No`): show the used rate and converted or original prices in the cart, checkout, order details, and emails.
- **Positions** (`alg_wc_pgbc_convert_currency_info_hooks`): choose exactly where the info appears.
- **Templates** and **Extra templates**: customize the output per position and per context (Cart or AJAX / mini-cart), using placeholders such as `%price%`, `%unconverted_price%`, `%convert_rate%`, and `%convert_currency%`.

Full details are in [Displaying conversion rates on the frontend](https://wpfactory.com/docs/displaying-conversion-rates/).

### Admin (backend)

![Convert Currency Admin options](https://wpfactory.com/wp-content/uploads/Convert-Currency-Admin-Options.png)

- **Order page** (`alg_wc_pgbc_convert_currency_order_meta_box`, default `Yes`): a meta box on the edit-order screen showing the rate used for that order.
- **Add recalculate button** and **Add convert button** (both default `No`): add "Recalculate with new rate" and "Convert order" actions to that meta box.
- **Orders list: original total** (`alg_wc_pgbc_convert_currency_admin_orders_list_total`, default `No`): add an unconverted-total column to the Orders list.
- **Currency symbol in admin** and **Number of decimals in admin** (both default `No`): apply the gateway's symbol and decimals inside the dashboard too.
- **Order total in admin** (`alg_wc_pgbc_convert_currency_admin_order_total`, default `No`): a custom admin total format, default `%order_total% %currency%`.

**Free or Pro?** The Info and Admin options themselves are not Pro-gated. The only thing Pro unlocks in this plugin is the ability to configure gateways beyond the five standard ones. See the full Admin walkthrough in [Convert Currency Admin options](https://wpfactory.com/docs/currency-compatibility-choices/).
