# Name Your Price Overview: Let Customers Make a Price Offer

[Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/price-offers-for-woocommerce/) adds a **Make an offer** button to your products so shoppers can propose their own price. You review each offer and accept, reject or counter it. Settings are at **WPFactory > Price Offers** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Price Offers**), and offers are listed under **Offers**.

## What it does

Name Your Price turns a fixed price tag into a negotiation. It works like this:

1. The shopper clicks **Make an offer** on a product page. A popup form asks for their price and email, plus their name and a message by default.
2. You receive an email, and the offer is saved in the **Offers** dashboard with the status **Open**.
3. You choose **Reject**, **Accept**, **Counter** or **Cancel**. The shopper gets an email for the action you picked.
4. Accept and counter emails contain a link that adds the product to the cart at the agreed price. After purchase, the offer can move to **Completed** automatically.

Common uses: reaching buyers who hesitate at the listed price, clearing slow-moving stock, and selling items where price is usually negotiated.

## Install and activate

1. Free: go to **Plugins > Add New**, search for **Name Your Price** by WPFactory, click **Install Now**, then **Activate**.
2. Pro: download **Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce Pro** from your WPFactory account, go to **Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**, choose the ZIP, click **Install Now** and then **Activate**. When Pro is active, the free version stops loading. WooCommerce must be active.

There is no separate master switch. Once Name Your Price is active, the offer button appears on your products according to the settings.

## First setup

1. Go to **WPFactory > Price Offers**. The **General** section opens with **Products** set to **Enable for all products**.
2. Set **User visibility** to **All users** (default) or **Logged-in users only** and save.
3. On the **Email** section, confirm **Email recipient** (default `%admin_email%`).
4. Open a product page and send a test offer.

For every setting in order, with screenshots, see [Getting started with Name Your Price](https://wpfactory.com/docs/use-name-your-price-plugin/).

## FAQ

### Can I show the offer button to logged-in customers only?

Yes, free. Set **User visibility** to **Logged-in users only** on the General section. See [restrict the Make-Offer button](https://wpfactory.com/docs/restrict-make-offer-by-role/).

### Does an accepted offer change the product price for everyone?

No. The agreed price applies only when the product is added to the cart through the link in the accept or counter email. The product's normal price does not change.

### Can offers be accepted automatically?

Yes, with Pro. Auto-Accept accepts offers at or above a minimum price you set, globally or per product, and Auto-Reject declines offers at or below a maximum price.

### Does it work with multi-vendor marketplaces?

Pro includes a Dokan multi-vendor option on the Compatibility section. See [Name Your Price with multi-vendor plugins](https://wpfactory.com/docs/name-your-price-multi-vendor/).
