# Take Control of Your WooCommerce Shipping

To control which WooCommerce shipping methods show at cart and checkout, use [Conditional Shipping for WooCommerce: Restrict Shipping Options by Anything](https://wpfactory.com/item/conditional-shipping-for-woocommerce/). It works with your existing WooCommerce shipping zones and methods, then hides or shows each method based on rules you set, so customers only ever see the options that apply to their order.

### What Conditional Shipping does

Conditional Shipping does not replace your shipping setup. It sits on top of it. You keep your zones, methods and rates in WooCommerce, and Conditional Shipping decides, per order, which of those methods are allowed to appear. A method that fails its conditions is simply removed from the list at cart and checkout.

### What you can condition on

You can restrict any shipping method on any of these conditions, each available as a Require rule (show only when it matches) or an Exclude rule (hide when it matches):

- **Order Amount**: a minimum or maximum cart total.
- **Cities**: the customer's shipping or billing city.
- **User Roles**: the customer's role, including a Guest role for logged-out visitors.
- **Users**: specific user IDs.
- **User Memberships**: membership plans (requires the WooCommerce Memberships plugin).
- **Payment Gateways**: the chosen payment method.
- **Products**: specific products in the cart.
- **Product Categories**: product categories in the cart.
- **Product Tags**: product tags in the cart.
- **Product Shipping Classes**: the shipping class of cart items.
- **Date/Time**: the day, date or time window of the order.

### Where to set it up

Go to **WPFactory > Conditional Shipping** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Conditional Shipping**). The General section holds the plugin-wide options, and each condition has its own section where you enter values per shipping method. When more than one condition is enabled, the **Logical operator** option decides whether every condition must pass (AND) or any one is enough (OR).

### Common use cases

- Offer free shipping only above a set order total.
- Limit local pickup to a list of nearby cities.
- Show a wholesale-only method to a specific user role.
- Restrict a courier to certain product shipping classes for bulky goods.
- Turn same-day delivery off after a cut-off time using a Date/Time rule.
