# Quantity Rules Conflict with Bundle or Composite Products

If Min Max Step Quantity Limits Manager for WooCommerce rules block bundle or composite products, avoid setting rules on products used inside bundles, or target standalone products with per-product rules (Pro). With WPC Product Bundles, enable Sum up each product quantity within the bundle product at WPFactory > Quantity Manager > Advanced.

### Common symptoms

- The bundle is blocked at add-to-cart because a child quantity fails a min/max/step rule.
- Bundle child quantities are not counted the way you expect toward a rule.
- The quantity rule applies to the bundle parent but not to its contents, or vice versa.

### Fix

1. **Decide where the rule should apply.** If a rule should not govern bundled items, avoid setting it on the products used inside bundles, or use per-product rules (Pro) to target only standalone products.
2. **Use the bundle compatibility option.** In **WPFactory > Quantity Manager > Advanced**, enable **Sum up each product quantity within the bundle product** (`wpfmmsq_advance_wpc_product_bundle`) if you use WPC Product Bundles, so quantities are totalled correctly.
3. **Exclude conflicting products.** In Pro, use **Disable plugin by category** to switch the plugin off for categories that only contain bundle components.
4. **Test in isolation.** Deactivate other plugins except WooCommerce, Quantity Manager and the bundle plugin to confirm the interaction.
