# Cost Field Not Displaying

If the cost field is not displaying, first make sure the Cost of Goods plugin is activated. Next, check the Screen Options tab, because the cost field may be hidden there. Finally, open the plugin's settings and confirm that the cost field is enabled. These three checks cover the usual reasons the field is missing.

- Ensure the plugin is **"activated"**.
