# Payment Methods by Product & Country: Reset a Settings Section

## Reset a settings section

To reset a settings section in [Payment Methods by Product & Country for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/payment-gateways-per-product-for-woocommerce/), go to WPFactory > Payment Gateways per Products, open the tab you want to reset, tick Reset settings in the Reset Section group at the bottom, and click Save changes. Only that tab is cleared, and the reset cannot be undone.

### How to reset one section

1. Go to **WPFactory > Payment Gateways per Products** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Payment Gateways per Products**).
2. Open the tab you want to reset (for example Product Categories).
3. Scroll to the **Reset Section** group at the bottom and tick **Reset settings**.
4. Click **Save changes**.

The plugin clears that section's options and shows a "Your settings have been reset" notice. Only the current tab is affected; rules in the other tabs are untouched.

**Note:** A reset cannot be undone. If you might want your rules back, note them down first. The reset checkbox is stored as `wpfactory_wc_pgpp_<section>_reset` and clears only the options belonging to that section.

### When to use it

- You set many Include/Exclude rules on one tab and want a clean slate.
- You are troubleshooting and want to remove one section's rules as a test, while keeping the rest.
