# Quantity Manager: How to Reset a Settings Section

## Reset a settings section to defaults

Every settings section in the [Min Max Step Quantity Limits Manager for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/product-quantity-for-woocommerce/) has its own reset control, so you can clear one section back to defaults without touching the rest. This is a free feature.

### Steps

1. Go to **WPFactory > Quantity Manager** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Product Quantity**).
2. Open the section you want to clear, for example **Minimum Quantity**.
3. Scroll to **Reset Section** at the bottom and tick **Reset section settings**.
4. Click **Save changes**. The options in that section are deleted and revert to their defaults, and you will see a "Your settings have been reset" notice.

**Important:** reset only affects the section you are viewing, and it cannot be undone. If you rely on custom messages or values in that section, copy them somewhere safe first.

### When to use it

- You experimented with a section and want a clean starting point.
- A section behaves unexpectedly and you want to rule out a stale saved value.
- You are handing the store to a new owner and want defaults in one area.
