# How to Reset a PDF Invoicing Settings Section

To reset a settings section in PDF Invoices & Packing Slips Generator for WooCommerce, go to WPFactory > PDF Invoicing, open the section (for example General, Doc: Invoice, or Counters), tick Reset section settings in the Reset Settings group at the bottom, and click Save changes. Only that section returns to its defaults, and this cannot be undone.

### Steps

1. Go to **WPFactory > PDF Invoicing** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > PDF Invoicing**).
2. Open the section you want to reset, for example **General**, **Doc: Invoice**, or **Counters**.
3. Scroll to the **Reset Settings** group at the bottom.
4. Tick **Reset section settings** (labeled "Reset").
5. Click **Save changes**. The section's options are cleared back to their defaults and a confirmation notice appears.

**Note:** the reset only affects the section you are currently viewing. It clears that section's stored options so each falls back to its coded default; this cannot be undone, so note any custom values you want to keep first. Resetting the **Doc: Invoice** section restores the default template, header, footer, and numbering.

### Use cases

- Restore the default invoice template after a broken edit.
- Clear advanced options back to their safe defaults when troubleshooting.
