# Setting Minimum/Maximum Amounts by Shipping Method

To set minimum and maximum amounts by shipping method in [Order Minimum/Maximum Amount Limits for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/order-minimum-maximum-amount-for-woocommerce/) Pro, go to WPFactory > Order Min/Max > Shipping, tick Amount per shipping, and choose per shipping method, instance, or zone. Save, then fill in the minimum and maximum amounts for each one and save again. This is a Pro feature.

### Before you start

- WooCommerce, active, with your shipping zones and methods already set up.
- [Order Minimum/Maximum Amount Limits for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/order-minimum-maximum-amount-for-woocommerce/) Pro: the **Shipping** section is a Pro feature.

### Step-by-step

1. Go to **WPFactory > Order Min/Max** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Order Min/Max Amount**) and open the **Shipping** sub-tab.
2. Tick **Amount per shipping** (`alg_wc_oma_by_shipping_enabled`) to enable the section.
3. Choose the **Type** (`alg_wc_oma_by_shipping_type`): per shipping method, per shipping instance, or per shipping zone.
4. Click **Save changes**. A block of amount fields appears for each method, instance, or zone.
5. Fill in the minimum and/or maximum amounts for each one, for each amount type, then save again.

### Good to know

- An amount of **0** is ignored, so the next level's limit applies instead.
- A negative value such as **-1** removes any limit for that case.
- **Priority** controls the order in which sections apply. Lower numbers apply first: by default Shipping is `30` and User Roles is `100`, so shipping limits apply before role limits.
- Turn on **Shipping messages** to unlock the `%shipping_method%`, `%shipping_zone%`, and `%shipping_zone_locations%` placeholders in the Messages sub-tab.
- For a non-standard shipping plugin, use the **Special cases** group to identify its method IDs.
