# Default and Site-Wide Free Shipping Notices in WooCommerce

The Store notice section of the [Free Shipping Bar: Amount Left for Free Shipping for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/amount-left-free-shipping-woocommerce/) shows the amount left for free shipping as a WooCommerce notice or as a fixed site-wide banner. This section is a Pro feature.

### Before you start

- WooCommerce, active.
- [Amount Left for Free Shipping](https://wpfactory.com/item/amount-left-free-shipping-woocommerce/) Pro (the Store notice section is Pro).

Go to **WPFactory > Left for Free Shipping** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Amount Left for Free Shipping**) and open the **Store notice** section. It contains two independent groups.

### Default WooCommerce notice

This group shows the message using the standard WooCommerce notice styles. Consider pairing it with General > Hide the amount left text > By cart amount for a cleaner result.

### Site-wide notice

This group shows a fixed banner across the whole site. You may also want to enable Advanced > AJAX so it updates as the cart changes.

**Placement hook is not the same as Position.** Placement hook is a text field that names the WordPress action hook where the banner is printed (default `wp_footer`). Position is the separate dropdown that pins the banner to the top or bottom of the screen. The banner also has Background color, Text color, Font size, Font weight, Text alignment, and Padding fields for styling.
