# Getting Started with Name Your Price for WooCommerce

To let customers submit price offers in WooCommerce, install [Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/price-offers-for-woocommerce/) and open **WPFactory > Price Offers** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Price Offers**). A **Make an offer** button appears on every product page by default, and offers arrive in the **Offers** dashboard.

## What it does

Name Your Price adds a button that opens an offer form. The shopper enters a price, their email and, by default, their name and a message. You get an email, the offer is saved with the status **Open**, and you can accept, reject or counter it. Accept and counter emails include a link that adds the product to the cart at the agreed price.

This article is the step-by-step setup. For a feature overview and the Free vs Pro split, see [Introduction to Name Your Price](https://wpfactory.com/docs/intro-name-your-price/).

## Install and activate

1. Free: go to **Plugins > Add New**, search for **Name Your Price** by WPFactory, then install and activate it.
2. Pro: download **Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce Pro** from your WPFactory account, upload the ZIP at **Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin** and activate it. When Pro is active, the free version stops loading. WooCommerce must be active.

There is no separate on/off switch: once active, the button shows according to the settings below.

## First setup

1. Go to **WPFactory > Price Offers**. The page opens on the **General** section.
2. Leave **Products** at **Enable for all products** (the default). **Enable for selected products only** is Pro.
3. Optionally tick **Exclude** > **Out of stock** or **With price**, or enter an **Above price** or **Below price** limit. All are off or empty by default.
4. Set **User visibility** to **All users** (default) or **Logged-in users only**, then save.
5. Open the **Email** section and check **Email recipient**. The default `%admin_email%` sends offers to the site admin email.
6. Visit a product page. The **Make an offer** button appears inside the product summary. Submit a test offer and check it arrives by email and under **Offers** in the WordPress admin menu.

## FAQ

### The Make an offer button does not show. What should I check?

Check **User visibility** (Logged-in users only hides it from guests), the **Exclude** options, and that **Position on single product page** is not set to **Do not add**. See [Make-Offer button not visible or working](https://wpfactory.com/docs/make-offer-button-not-working/).

### Where do I find offers customers sent?

Under **Offers** in the WordPress admin menu, and in the **Price offers** meta box on each product's edit page.

### Can customers make offers on product variations?

Offers tied to a specific variation, with the button updating as the shopper picks one, use the Pro **Per variation** option under Selected Products Options. See [Make-Offer not available for variations](https://wpfactory.com/docs/make-offer-product-variations/).

### Can I let shoppers offer on more than one unit?

Yes. Add **Quantity** to **Enabled fields** in the Form section (default quantity is 1). See [support quantity in Make-Offer](https://wpfactory.com/docs/support-quantity-make-offer/).
