# How to Show Cross-sell Products in a Popup in WooCommerce

To show cross-sell products in a popup in WooCommerce, add cross-sells on each product's **Linked Products** tab, then set **What to show** to **Cross-sells** at **WPFactory > Upsell, Cross-sell & Related Products Popup Pro > General**. ## Where the cross-sell popup appears

- **Shop, product category and other WooCommerce archive pages:** yes, when **What to show** is **Cross-sells**.
- **Single product pages:** no. The product page popup always shows upsells, with related products as a fallback. To suggest the same items there, add them to the product's **Upsells** as well.
- **Cart and checkout pages:** Sales Bump has no separate cart or checkout popup setting, and it does not change the cross-sells section WooCommerce shows on the cart page.

## Steps

1. Go to **Products > All Products** and edit a product.
2. In **Product data**, open **Linked Products** and add products in **Cross-sells**. Click **Update**. Repeat for each product that should trigger the popup.
3. Go to **WPFactory > Upsell, Cross-sell & Related Products Popup Pro > General**.
4. Under **Archive/Shop Page Options**, set **Show popup** to **Yes**.
5. Set **What to show** to **Cross-sells**.
6. Set **Limit** (0 shows all cross-sells) and **Columns** (default 4).
7. Click **Save changes**.
8. Open your shop page and click **Add to cart** on a simple product that has cross-sells. The product is added and the popup lists its cross-sells.

- A camera with a memory card and a spare battery.
- A phone case with a screen protector.
- A coffee grinder with a bag of beans.

## FAQ

### Can I show cross-sells in the popup on the product page?

Not directly. The product page popup uses the product's upsells. Add the same products to **Upsells** if you want them to appear there too.

### Does Sales Bump show a popup on the cart or checkout page?

There is no cart or checkout popup setting. The popup is started by Add to cart buttons, and the checkout page has none. WooCommerce's own cart page cross-sells section keeps working as before.

### Can the shop page popup show upsells and cross-sells together?

No. **What to show** takes one value at a time: Upsells, Cross-sells or Related products.

### Why does the popup show fewer products than my Limit?

The popup only lists the cross-sells saved on the clicked product. **Limit** is a maximum, and products hidden from your catalog or out of stock (when WooCommerce hides out of stock items) are left out.
