# How to Show Total Savings in the WooCommerce Cart

To show total savings in the WooCommerce cart with [MSRP (RRP) Pricing for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/msrp-for-woocommerce/) Pro, go to WPFactory > MSRP, open the Cart section, and tick Cart total savings > Enable section. Choose one or more cart hooks in Position(s), adjust the Template with the %total_savings% placeholder if needed, and save. This is a Pro feature.

### Before you start

- WooCommerce, active.
- [MSRP (RRP) Pricing for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/msrp-for-woocommerce/) Pro. In the free version the enable toggle for this section is disabled.
- Products with an MSRP higher than their selling price, so there is a saving to total.

### Step-by-step

1. Go to **WPFactory > MSRP** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > MSRP**).
2. Open the **Cart** section.
3. Under **Cart Total Savings Display Options**, tick **Cart total savings > Enable section**.
4. In **Position(s)**, choose one or more cart hooks where the message should appear.
5. Adjust the **Template** if you want different wording, using the `%total_savings%` placeholder.
6. Click **Save changes**.

The **Position(s)** field lists standard WooCommerce cart hooks, including before the cart, inside cart totals (before or after shipping and order total), at **Proceed to checkout**, and around the shipping calculator. Pick the spot that fits your cart layout.

**Note:** the total is the sum of each item's (price minus MSRP) times its quantity, shown as a negative amount. Only items whose MSRP is set are counted, and the message is hidden when there is nothing to save.
