# How to Enable Price Offers for Selected Products, Categories, and Variations

To enable price offers for selected items in [Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/price-offers-for-woocommerce/) Pro, go to WPFactory > Price Offers > General and set Products to Enable for selected products only. Then enable Per product, Per variation, or Per product category targeting, and set Price offers to Yes on each product that should accept offers.

### Before you start

- WooCommerce, active.
- [Name Your Price](https://wpfactory.com/item/price-offers-for-woocommerce/) Pro (selected-products targeting is a Pro feature).

### Step 1: Switch to selected products only

Go to **WPFactory > Price Offers > General**. Set **Products** (`alg_wc_price_offerings_products`) to **Enable for selected products only**. This activates the **Selected Products Options** group below.

### Step 2: Choose a targeting method

| Label | Option ID | Default |

| Per variation | `alg_wc_price_offerings_per_product_variation` | No |
| Per product category | `alg_wc_price_offerings_per_category` | Disabled |

### Per product

Enable **Per product** to add a **Price offers** control to each product's **Product data** panel. On a product, set **Price offers** to **Yes** to accept offers on it. Each product also gains its own price step, minimal price, maximal price, default price, default quantity, and (with Pro automation) auto-accept and auto-reject prices. Leave any of these blank to use the global value from the **Form** and **Automation** sections.

### Per variation

Enable **Per variation** (in addition to Per product) to add the same **Price offers** control to each variation of a variable product, so you can accept offers on some variations but not others.

### Per product category

**Per product category** has three modes:

- **Disabled:** categories are not used for targeting.
- **Require categories:** only products in the chosen **Product categories** accept offers.
- **Exclude categories:** every product except those in the chosen categories accepts offers.

### How the rules combine

With **Enable for selected products only**, a product shows the button if it is enabled per product (or per variation), or if it matches the per-category rule. Products that match neither do not show the button.
