# Template Placeholders and Styling Reference

The [Number of Products per Page - Pagination Manager for WooCommerce](https://wpfactory.com/item/products-per-page-woocommerce/) plugin builds the selector from a text template with placeholders, plus a few styling fields. This reference lists every placeholder and styling option in Products per Page, with its exact behavior.

These fields live in the Template Options block at **WPFactory > Products per Page** (also reachable at **WooCommerce > Settings > Products per Page**).

### Placeholders

| Placeholder | Outputs |
| --- | --- |
| `%from%` | The first product number shown on the current page |
| `%to%` | The last product number shown on the current page |
| `%total%` | The total number of matching products |
| `%dropdown%` | The selector as an HTML `<select>` dropdown |
| `%radio%` | The selector as a set of radio buttons |
| `%select_form%` | Deprecated alias of `%dropdown%`. Use `%dropdown%` instead |

The default template is: `Products <strong>%from% - %to%</strong> from <strong>%total%</strong>. Products on page %dropdown%`. Include either `%dropdown%` or `%radio%` so shoppers have a control to interact with.

### Styling and wrapper fields

| Field | Option ID | Applies to |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Selector class | `alg_wc_products_per_page_select_class` | Each `<input>` for `%radio%`; the `<select>` for `%dropdown%` |
| Selector style | `alg_wc_products_per_page_select_style` | Same elements as Selector class, as inline CSS |
| Before HTML | `alg_wc_products_per_page_before_html` | Markup printed before the form |
| After HTML | `alg_wc_products_per_page_after_html` | Markup printed after the form |
| Radio glue | `alg_wc_products_per_page_radio_glue` | String placed between radio buttons (default is a single space) |

### Example templates

A compact dropdown label:

Radio buttons with a lead-in:

```
