Plugin Developer
Are you an awesome WordPress developer with proficiency in written English?
Do you know your way around WordPress, and love solving problems? If you’ve wanted the freedom to work from wherever you want, you’re at the right place. We are hiring for a WordPress developer. This is a remote position, where you work from home (or, wherever).
We’re looking for a WordPress developer capable of creating new features and fixing bugs for our current plugins. It’s also going to be necessary to work partially as support, interacting with customers, mostly via email.
You must be proficient in WordPress. This includes being up to date with the coding standards (functions, hooks, performance recommendations, etc) of the community behind WordPress. The above implies that your PHP, Javascript, and MySQL skills are good enough to work with WP. WooCommerce experience is a major asset as well.
This is a full-time position. The tasks would include:
- Debugging plugin issues.
- Creating new features for our plugins.
- Working partially as support responding to customer requests.
- Using version control in Git.

Support Agent
Do you like the challenge of trying to understand and guide people when they don’t know exactly what to do? Are you fond of writing things that will help other people?
We’re looking for an empathetic person with English communication skills, compassion, lots of patience, and good WordPress knowledge.
If you’ve wanted the freedom to work from wherever you want, you’re at the right place. We may have a job for you.
In general, a typical day would include:
- Helping users with general questions related to WPFactory.
- Helping users with questions related to installation, plugin, and theme features/options, guiding on customizations using built-in options or, if needed, via custom CSS/other methods.
- Troubleshooting any bugs/issues, offering workarounds where possible, and creating bug reports.
- Writing and improving the documentation and FAQ from our products.
- Testing plugin features.
Requirements:
- A kind and calm personality with a lot of patience and empathy to guide users.
- Familiarity with WordPress, WooCommerce, HTML, and CSS.
- Fluent in written English.
An ideal candidate:
- Has experience installing and configuring WordPress plugins and themes.
- Is adept at troubleshooting technical issues.
- Has great experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, HTML, and CSS.
- Has experience providing technical support to customers, via tickets, or forums.
- Has created three or more WordPress websites.
- Has experience creating bug reports.
