Coupon Amount by User Role
This feature allows you to set different discount amounts for the same coupon code based on the user’s role. For instance, you can offer a 10% discount to subscribers and a 15% discount to customers for the same coupon.
Here’s how it’s implemented in the Pro version
- Enable Per Coupon: In the plugin settings, there’s a section called “Amount per coupon” under “Per Coupon.” Enabling this adds an “Amount by User Role” tab to each individual coupon’s edit page.
- Set Discount Amounts per User Role: Within the “Amount by User Role” tab, you can define specific discount amounts (percentage or fixed value) for each user role you want to target with that particular coupon.
Important Note
The free version of the plugin only supports managing coupon availability (disable or invalidate) for the standard user roles (Guest, Administrator, Editor, etc.). To use this feature with custom user roles, you’ll need to upgrade to the Pro version.
