Payment Gateway Compatibility: The plugin offers compatibility options with various popular payment gateway plugins like WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway, WooCommerce PayPal Payments, PayPal for WooCommerce by Angell EYE, etc. Enabling these options ensures smooth conversion functionality when using these gateways.
Important Note:Some compatibility options might require specific settings in the “General” and “Advanced” sections of the Convert Currency plugin for optimal functionality.
Advanced Options
Lock Gateway on Order Payment: Prevents customers from changing the payment gateway in their “My Account” order details page. This helps maintain consistent conversion rates and avoid potential discrepancies.
Recalculate Cart: Enables recalculation of the cart total in case you encounter issues with incorrect amounts or currencies displayed in the mini-cart.
Current Gateway Fallbacks: Defines how the plugin chooses a payment gateway when the initial selected gateway might not be available during conversion. Options include HTTP request variable, first available gateway, last known gateway, or default gateway.
Force Session Start: Forces a session to be started for guests (non-logged-in users). This ensures conversion information is saved even for guest purchases.
Cache Prices: Enables caching of converted prices to improve performance and potentially prevent double conversions. You can choose between caching based on product ID, product ID and data, or product ID and changes.
Cache Product ID: Optionally, cache the product ID to further optimize performance.
Fix RTL Currencies: This enables a fix for right-to-left (RTL) currency symbols that might not display correctly.
Rate Step: Allows entering the conversion rate as text instead of a number. Disables the “Rate Step” option in this case.
Debug:Enables debug logging for troubleshooting any conversion-related issues. The logs appear in WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
