Regarding your questions:
1- You mean adding some option to include cart products to the wish list? That’s a good idea. We hadn’t plans for that but we can add it on our to do list for sure, thanks

2- If the customer adds a variable product on the wish list, regardless if it’s the default option or not, the button displayed will be “add to cart” already. The “select an option” button is only displayed when the user didn’t choose the variation
