Finding and Processing Submitted Offers in WP Admin

Problem Description #

Admins cannot find where customers’ offers are saved or how to accept/reject/counter offers from the dashboard.

Common symptoms:

  • Uncertainty whether offers are sent by email only or also stored in admin area.

  • Questions about the offer list location or how to view offer details. WordPress.org

Cause:
Offers may be delivered via email and also stored as a custom post type / order note / dashboard list depending on plugin settings. The admin UI location can be missed if plugin adds a submenu or a separate admin page.

Solution – step-by-step #

  1. Check plugin docs for admin location

    1. Open WPFactory docs → Name Your Price → Admin Options to find the exact menu: the plugin usually adds a submenu under WooCommerce or a top-level admin menu for offers. WPFactory

  2. Look for “Price Offers” or “Product Offers” menu

    1. Check WooCommerce → Offers or WPFactory → Price Offers (the exact label may vary). Click the page to view pending offers.

  3. Check product data panels

    1. Some plugins store offers attached to the product (as a meta or post type). Edit a product and look for an “Offers” tab or metabox that lists offers for that product.

  4. Search email if admin notifications are used

    1. If you configured email notifications only, offers may not be stored in admin — check email inbox for offer submissions. If you prefer to store them in admin, enable the plugin option to store offers (if available).

  5. Process offers: accept / reject / counter

    1. Use the provided admin actions on the offer row (Accept / Reject / Counter). WPFactory docs detail each action and the corresponding email templates. WPFactory

  6. If you can’t find stored offers, enable logging

    1. Some installs disable storing offers for privacy or size concerns. Enable “Store offers in database” option (if present) and re-test.
