Hey! I have a proposal for a feature that would really help us.
Let us use “User Role” as a condition, so that I can apply let’s say 15% discount to all the users with the user role “Pro”. See below:
Would this be posssible?

Actually, it is possible with our plugin to give discounts to users based on user roles. In order to do this, please go to the “Discount Group #1” and scroll down to the “Users” section and utilize the “Include” feature there. Please give it a try. Let us know if it doesn’t help.

MoshtafizurHey Moshtafizur! I knew about it but the issue is that I need to selected user by user, it doesn’t allow me to outright set a discount for a specific user role. Meaning that if I use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/ to create the user role “Professional”, and then I follow your instructions, I don’t find the user-role. Only individual users.
We currently have about 200 users in the Professional user role.

I just tried the User Role Editor plugin, but I couldn’t find a way to create a new user role with the plugin. Could you please let us know how you’re creating user roles with this plugin so that we can test it with your plugin?

Please update the plugin to the latest v1.9.0 – as requested, we’ve added the “User roles” options to the discount groups.

Hey! Looks great I’ll have to try it! Do you know if I can do:
- Have 3 brands with 15% discount on all products (Already have this active)
- Have the user role: Professional, with a 15% discount on all Products (But don’t discount over the 15% already discounted by the first rule.)

Have 3 brands with 15% discount on all products (Already have this active)
First, add “Brands” to the “Taxonomies” option in the plugin’s “General” settings (in “WooCommerce > Settings > Global Shop Discount > General”).
Then in your discount settings, you should be able to see “Brands > Include” and “Brands > Exclude” options (in “WooCommerce > Settings > Global Shop Discount > Discount Group #X”).
Have the user role: Professional, with a 15% discount on all Products
Add “Professional” in the “User roles > Include” option in the discount settings (in “WooCommerce > Settings > Global Shop Discount > Discount Group #X”).
But don’t discount over the 15% already discounted by the first rule.
Enable the “Stop on first matching discount group” checkbox in the plugin’s “General” settings (in “WooCommerce > Settings > Global Shop Discount > General”).
