Problem Description #

Bulk editing product costs or importing/exporting COGS settings sometimes fails.

Common Symptoms:

  • Changes not saved when using bulk edit.

  • Import/export CSVs do not update fields as expected.

Cause:

  • Plugin permissions or incorrect CSV formatting.

  • Conflicts with other plugins or themes that alter WooCommerce product fields.

Solution

  1. Check user role permissions, admin role required.

  2. Confirm CSV format matches plugin requirements.

  3. Clear cache or deactivate conflicting plugins.

  4. Try bulk edit in small batches to isolate failing records.
