Can I ignore renaming the featured image when importing posts from a feed?

I am a paid user and need your help.

Is there any way to ignore renaming the “featured image” when we create the post?

Actually, I am importing some posts from the feed and these feed items have some images. This “importing posts from the feed plugin” will save the first image of the feed item as the featured image.

To ignore or avoid renaming this specific media file, how can I set this up on “Ignore file extensions”?

Please let me know how I can manage to do this.
