HELLO this plugin, Custom Checkout Fields for WooCommerce is it compatible with EU/UK VAT Manager for WooCommerce.
In other words, can is change settings for fields like priority, required, unset field and so on, based up on which page ID the checkout page is shown?
Take care, Jean Paul

Thanks for reaching out.
With the Custom Checkout Fields for WooCommerce Pro plugin, you can add custom fields like text, textarea, number, checkbox, etc. to WooCommerces default checkout page. But I am not sure if I was able to understand the question. Could you please elaborate on this?
Kind regards,

I wanted to know if the plugin Custom Checkout Fields for WooCommerce Pro
can make changes to the checkout fields inserted by the plugin EU/UK VAT Manager for WooCommerce.
I am now doing it by code myself, but would have been easier if it could have done by a plugin. Thanks for the information.
Kind regards,
Jean Paul

I was looking for the same issue and I have found your answer, will you provide me the code to show/hide fields from EU/UK VAT Manager for WooCommerce. I have also tried woocommerce checkout manager and other plugins but none can do. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for reaching out.
Could you please let us know exactly for what condition you want to hide the VAT filed? This would help us assist you better.
Kind regards.
June 12, 2024 at 6:48 am #143674RicardoParticipantHello,
We have a shop and we sell retail but also to companies so we need to show VAT field during billing only when a company is buying. When it is a private client (people) we show another field, called NIF/NIE (personal ID for Spain). Thanks for your answer!

June 14, 2024 at 12:13 am #143762MoshtafizurParticipantHi there,
Could you please let us know if you checked the “Show field for selected countries only” and “Show field for selected user roles only” options under the “General” section of the plugin? It may address your specific needs.
Regards.
June 14, 2024 at 4:33 am #143766RicardoParticipantHello again,
I can´t check roles because checkout form can be filled by users without registering. And for the other check, country is more o less the same, we don´t filter by country. Thanks for the help

June 25, 2024 at 2:37 pm #144541KousikParticipantHello @ricardo,
I have one question: How do you distinguish between retail customers and business customers at checkout?
To address this, you can use our EU VAT Manager plugin. You can enable this option as shown in the screenshot:
General > Belgium Compatibility > Let customer decide
