Distance calculated based on which warehouse customers order from

My client has two warehouses and wants customers to be able to order from either and have their distance calculated based on which one they order from.
I already have a plugin which allows us to manage inventory for each warehouse independently, and allows customers to checkout products from each too – but I do not know if it will be possible to ‘hook’ that information into your shipping plug-in. I am assuming I will need a developer to do this, but broadly speaking, do you think this is possible with your plugin?
