July 23, 2021 at 3:14 pm #91352Hi Kay,
Sure, I can do that. Just to be sure I understood it correctly – if you add some role to that new option (i.e. “Enable all coupons for selected user roles”), then for all other roles coupons would be automatically disabled, is that correct? So basically, you can achieve the same result with the current plugin options, except that if you need only one role to use the coupons, then it would be much easier for you to set it up? If that’s the case, I’m thinking maybe instead I could add “Select all roles” (and “Deselect all roles”) buttons, so you could basically click on the “Select all roles” button, and remove the only role you don’t need in “Disable all coupons for selected user roles” option? Hope that makes sense. What do you think?

now we can change between “disable” and “invalidate” – but sometimes we need the oposite. “Enable” for this role!
My Problem:
I have a store. And there in wordpress woocommerce every customer/buyer is “Customer”! And certain users get after the purchase of product X with me another role “Y”.
And now I want that only users with role “Y” can use a certain coupon.
But with you it is currently only exclusion. So there is a missing permission for certain roles.
So user with role “Y” may use this voucher, no matter which roles there are or the user still has.
So i need “Allow only for users with this role”! Or “Allow only for users with this role among others”!
I hope you can understand my thoughts!

July 23, 2021 at 5:23 pm #91354Hi Kay,
Oh, ok, I think I got it now. So it’s a multi-role issue, i.e. if user is only “Customer”, he is not allowed to use the coupon, but if he is “Customer” and “Y” at the same time, then he can use the coupon, is that correct? If that’s it, then it should be quite easy to do, I will try to implement it tomorrow then.

i can’t answer you, that’s why i always rewrite. Do not be surprised.
Yes exactly, instead of always excluding, just include rolling.
It also works: “Usable only for users with role 1 and role 2”.
Or “Usable for users with role 1, no matter what other roles they have”.
Thanks a lot for your quick help

July 24, 2021 at 4:04 pm #91356Hi Kay,
As promised, we’ve released a new plugin version today (v1.4.0), where I’ve added “Exceptions” options. Hopefully this is what you need. Please give it a try and let me know if it’s working as expected.
P.S. I’ve also added “Select all” and “Deselect all” buttons I’ve suggested earlier – should make it easier for you to handle the plugin’s settings.
P.P.S. You can answer to the current thread by clicking “Reply” on your own initial comment (i.e. the first comment in the thread).

that sounds good.
I will wait to a update of my plugin or must download and install the new plugin?

July 26, 2021 at 4:36 pm #91358Hi Kay,
To enable automatic plugin updates, you’ll need to install free WPFactory Helper plugin. Alternatively, you can always download the latest plugin release manually from your account page.
P.S. After you test it, please let me know if it’s working as expected.
