    Hi when i upload multiple files, with it set to rename as per post title, i get all the files renamed exactly – how do i set it that it adds a number say, 1 then 2 and so on.

    The problem is that WP thinks its the same file so all the images are identical.

    Hi Dean,

    By default, WordPress puts a number at the end of duplicated file names.

    Anyway, instead of only using the {posttitle} rule, try to use the {filename} or the {datetime} as well.
