Run Generate and Update actions automatically

I hope you’re doing well.

To automatically generate EANs and copy them to the product meta for all your products using the EAN for WooCommerce plugin, please follow these steps:

1. Generate EANs for All Products

• Navigate to WPFactory > EAN > Tools.

• Use the “Generate EAN for all products” tool. This will generate EANs for any products that do not currently have one assigned.

2. Set Automatic Actions

Still in the Tools section, ensure you’ve configured the following:

• New product: Set to Generate

• Update product: Set to Copy to product meta

Don’t forget to save your changes to run the options.

3. Cron Settings

The plugin relies on WordPress’ built-in cron system. You don’t need to manually configure cron jobs, but make sure your WordPress cron is working correctly by checking if other scheduled tasks are functioning as expected.

4. Testing

Once everything is set up, try adding a new product or updating an existing one to confirm that the EAN is generated and copied to the product meta correctly.
