Hello, I am manually creating an email template for the activation email using Email Template Customizer for WooCommerce by VillaTheme. It requires me to add the activation link on the form as a shortcode.
I saw that in WooCommerce / Email Verification / Compatibility, you have said (for Email Customizer for WooCommerce by VillaTheme): ‘Display the activation email content on the New account template using the {alg_wc_ev_viwec} special text’.
I have placed {alg_wc_ev_viwec} in a text box on my email template but it behaves inactive. Am I using the wrong shortcode?
Please advise. Thank you

Sorry for the delay, but it should have worked. I just tested here.
You just need to make sure of these details:
- It’s necessary to enable Emails > Activation email > Fine tune activation email placement option.
- The option “Email > Send as a separate email” needs to be disabled.
- The option “Email > Email template” needs to be set as
Plain - You should add the
{alg_wc_ev_viwec}in a text component
If it doesn’t work, can you please create/share an admin account to your server (WP and preferably FTP), so I could log in and check what’s going on? If that’s the case, you can send an email to [email protected].
