Adding Meta data for package quantity ordered with quantity step

Hi,

We are happily using your plugin, it’s working really great!
I have just one small thing that I would like to request.
Our minimal and step quantity are the same within the products. We are using it like this because we are working with packages of this specific number. Now we would like to be able to add a meta data to the product line where we can see how many packages have been ordered.
So someone ordered 24pcs, and the product has step quantity 8, which means we would like to add a meta data to the product line of 3.
I imagine we could do something with a code snippet to add to our functions.php?

I hope I am explaining well what we would like to achieve and you can help us out 🙂
