    Hey there,

I’m trying to implement the regular Barcode into the packing list of this plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/print-invoices-packing-slip-labels-for-woocommerce/

As far as I read your plugin was descruped as to be compatible with it but no matter what I’m trying to do, it doesn’t work.

Both plugins are bought, so Premium versions are installed and work like charm.

Just checked everything and the EAN works for product meta fields but not the barcode.

No possible solution here, I’m stucked now. There’s no working meta key that can give me the generated barcode….the EAN works but that’s not what I need.

I think it’s because of the automatic generated image, it’s not a “real” image but on the other hand the packing-list can generate a unique barcode for the packing list itself with a simple meta key.

I just need the working meta key for the barcode, that’s all I want! Variations included.

    Hi Max,

Would it be possible to share access to your site, so I could log in and check what’s going on (my email is [email protected])? Please let me know if sharing an account is not an option, and I will continue solving it remotely.

    Hi again, Max,

Please ignore my previous message. I’ve just downloaded the PDF plugin you’ve mentioned, and it’s not in the list of our compatible plugins. However, there is good news – I think I already found a solution. Will try to release a new plugin version in a couple of hours or so.

    Me again 🙂

As promised, we’ve just released a new plugin version (v3.5.0), where I’ve added options to display EAN and barcodes in the WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes and Shipping Labels plugin.

EAN options are in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > Compatibility > WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes and Shipping Labels”.

And barcodes options are in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > (2D) Barcodes > Plugin Compatibility Options > WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes and Shipping Labels”.

Please give it a try and let me know what you think.

    Hi Tom!

Thanks for your reply. The invoices work now but I need the barcodes for the packing lists. It has to be this way, because the customers shouldn’t see about 10-15 barcodes on his/her invoice but our packing staff needs them to scan and fullfil the order.

Still now success with the meta keys 🙁

    UPDATE:

The Bacrode works only on the invoice, nowhere else. Not on the picklist, not the packing list (that’s what I need), not the proforma invoice,…I’m still happy with your plugin, the compatibility and your support but this feature is necessary for a good internal workflow.

    Hi Max,

Thank you for the feedback. Sorry I’ve missed that. I thought it would work with all documents, but you are right, I did test it with the invoices only. Will be working on fixing it right now.

    Hi again, Max,

We’ve just released a new plugin version (v3.5.1). Now EAN and/or barcodes will be displayed in other PDF documents (e.g. packing slips) as well.

Also, I’ve added some new options. You can now select:

    • exactly which document(s) should display EAN and/or barcodes (e.g.: limit it to packing slips and dispatch labels only),
    • in what position should EAN and/or barcodes be displayed (e.g.: you can now display it as a separate column).

Please give it a try and let me know what you think.

Tom…you are awesome. Thanks for your support. I’m self deployed for years now and never saw this kind of effort you gave to make it work. You just created a key-feature for small companys who need a proper solution on automatic fulfulments.

    Thank you!

    Hi Max,

Glad you liked it, and thank you for the kind words, that’s really nice to hear 🙂

Let me know if you need anything else.
