Hi team!
Apologies on what might be a silly question.I’m trying to duplicate my stock inventory onto a marketplace. While doing it I’ve noticed that some EANS are already being in use by others partners.
When trying to use “Generate” button or delete and create new EANS: the tool always generate the same exact one. Not creating a different code from the original one. Do you recommend any approach for this? How can I set up different codes to have them differently from others partners?Have a great week!

Our plugin generates valid but random EANs. This means that it’s not guaranteed that EANs will be unique worldwide (they are unique in your shop, though) or assigned to the correct brand.
If you are selling some other manufacturer’s products, you will have to manually look up the correct EANs.
If you are selling your own products and need truly unique EANs, you will have to buy them from GS1, and then you can use our Assign from the List tool to automatically distribute your purchased EANs to new or existing products in your shop.
If you don’t want to buy EANs but still want to generate EANs automatically with our tool, you can probably try setting the Country prefix (from) option to a different value; however, we are not really sure if this will help.
