Hiding VAT field for retail customers

Hi, your EU VAT validation works great. How would you recommend hiding it under the Checbox “I’m a business”. Most of our customers are retail customers but if a business is making a purchase I would like them to check the checkbox I’m a business” and fill out company information: NAME, CODE, VAT CODE. I can do this with checkout field editor but I don’t know how to include your EU VAT field in their fields selection. They only display regular fields or allow to create completely custom fields.
