How can I exclude the coupon from the minimum check?

    Hi. Thank you for plugin. I have a questions about using coupon discount with order min/max.

    Question 1:
    The order minimum on the site is $50. But if a user uses a coupon (e.g. 20% discount), the cart total will drop below $50 when the coupon is applied. And then the order needs to go through. (The order total BEFORE discounts should be checked).

    Is this possible?

    Question 2:
    What is the function of this settings?
    – WooCommerce > Settings > Order Min/Max Amount > Exclude discount

    Do you have documentation for this?

    PS. I’m doing support for a client, so I’m not sure if they have the free or the pro version.

    Hello Elizabeth,

    Thank you for getting in touch with us. Our pro version of the plugin may be able to assist you with your issue. I suggest you not check the minimum amount when the coupon is applied. To do this, please navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Order Min/Max Amount > Coupons. Then enable the section. Select the coupon from the Coupons > Exclude option if you don’t want to check the minimum amount for just that coupon. Please enable Coupons > Exclude all if you do not want to check the minimum amount for any coupons.

    In this configuration, the plugin will check the order total before applying discounts.

    Thank you for feedback. In the free version of the plugin, what is the function of the setting:

    – WooCommerce > Settings > Order Min/Max Amount > Exclude discount

    Does this check that the cart order total meets the minimum requirement, and only then apply the WooCommerce coupon code?

    So a cart total of $51 can still be checked out with a discount of $50 (applied through a WC coupon code)?

    Or is that what you’re saying the pro version is needed for? And if so, how does the “exclude discount” setting on the free version work then?

    Hello Elizabeth,

    You can utilize the Exclude discounts functionality if you’re using our free version of the plugin. If you activate this option, it will verify that the sum of your cart order satisfies the minimum requirement before applying any WooCommerce coupons.
