Hi,
I am interested in buying the plugin but wondering if i could do the following.
The customer can buy only 3 products from a specific category, but within that category he cannot buy the same product several times, only once.
For example, I have category 1 with product A, B, C, D and E.
So the customer can only buy 3 products in this category but always different products. He will not be able to buy the same product again.

Unfortunately, at the moment, it is only possible to limit the number of products from a category. For example, if a customer purchases a product X from category A and the limit is 3 for Category A, the customer can buy 3 of product X. It cannot be limited to 1.
But, I have passed your request to our development team. They will look into the viability of this and get back to you. It may take some time though.
For your second question, yes, the plugin works with virtual and downloadable products.

Actually, I think there is a way of getting what you’ve asked. The Limits > Per product settings will overwrite the Limits > Per category settings.
So you can set the Per category option as 3 and the Per product option as 1, but you’d have to do that to all the products from that category.

I bought the plugin and tried the settings:

But after 3 purchases the user can still buy other products from the same category.
Also, is there a way to delete/reset users purchases from the plugin, so in case i want that particular user to buy this products again.
