Hello, I need to limit users and guests to purchase a maximum amount of specific products within a 15 day range. (They can buy only once within 15 days). I’ve put all the settings and restrictions on the specific products but it’s only restricting the number people can buy at a time. The same user comes back and buys again with the same e-mail.

Can someone please come and check if i’m doing something wrong or if there is a conflict somewhere because i’ve gone through the settings and everything is as it should be and its not working how it should.

    Regards.

    Hi Tina,

Please follow these steps to set this up, let me know if you continue having trouble with this. In the plugin’s settings

General > Mode > Product quantities
General > Date range > Custom, 15, days
General > Order statuses > Completed, Processing and any other relevant ones
Limits > Per product > Enable

Then edit the specific product and you will find a new field for maximum products per user. Here you will need to enter the limit of the product. For example, if you need a user to purchase a maximum of five enter 5.

Please let me know if you continue having trouble with this.

    Hello,

So i had already done what you sent but i added processing payment status and wanted to check if it would still work, It is still not restricting people up to 15 days. Once you purchase a restricted item, you can go right back and purchase it again.

    Regards.

    Hi Tina,

Is it possible for you to share your WordPress dashboard access and we can take a look for you? You can send your details to [email protected]

    Hello,

Login details have been sent. But 2 things we noticed that is an issue:

    1. Guests are not recognised by their IP, how do we make this feature work for product quantities.
    2. Guests cannot go round the site and add different things to their cart. We would prefer guests to get to the checkout page with all their items then the forced option of them creating an account is prompted. This helps guests not to leave before purchase and reduces abandoned cart.

    Regards.
