GuestHello,
How can I make sure that ‘product tag’ is overwritten by ‘user role’? I’ve applied both but ‘user role’ doesn’t take any effect. I think it may be due to ‘product tag’ having the priority.
Thank you
October 3, 2022 at 7:39 am #93271Hello Bartek,
Thanks for reaching out.
If you select a min/max value from both the product tag edit page and the User Roles section, then the value from the product tag edit page will be implemented. However, could you kindly let us know what you are hoping to do with the plugin so that we can help you with the setup more effectively?
Kind regards,

GuestHello Moshtafizur,
Thank you for your fast response.
Currently, there are 2 types of products (divided using product tags):
- No minimum order
- £20 minimum order
Additionally, I’ve created new user role (set to -1 on min amount, since I want there to be no min amount for users with this user role). However, the user role seems not to effect the ‘£20 minimum order’ tag, and min amount still applies.
Thank you for your help.
October 4, 2022 at 11:42 am #93273Hello Bartek,
Thank you for explaining the issue in detail.
If you have set a limit from the product tag edit page, then you would need to set the limit for a particular user role from that product tag edit page as well.
For example, if you want to set a different limit for the Subscriber user role for a particular tag, then you would need to make sure that in the plugin settings, under the User Roles section, the Amount by user role option is enabled. Then go to Products > Tags > Your tag > Edit and there you will need to set the amount of Min sum [Subscriber] to the appropriate value.
Please give this a try. If you encounter any issues, then please let us know.
Kind regards,
