Invoice payment and checkout

Our website offers services to clients, not products. We also plan to have clients make payments upon receipt of invoice when at the checkout for a service. They receive an email advising that the request has been received. Once we review the order to make sure all is correct, we generate an email with the invoice to the client with a ‘pay now’ link.  Clicking on that takes them back to the checkout page. This time we want them to have access to payment by credit card or debit card. In other words the clients are going to the same checkout page twice, but the first time there’s ‘invoice payment’, the second time credit card payment is offered. Is there a way to do that with your plugin?
