    Hi,

I have the paid version of the plugin.

I am entering information in the orders such as the payment fees, shipping costs, etc. to get the true profit on the item.

However, in analytics, the only thing that is shown is cost and the profit based on the sale price and the cost. Is there a way to get it to show the profit as calculated in the individual order???

I am talking about the “Product” screen in analytics so I can look at which items are most profitable.

It is shown with correct values in the “Revenue” section.

There is a great discrepancy between the two because the products section is not accounting for shipping fees, listing fees,  packaging/handling costs that I’ve paid.

    Thanks

    Hi Cheryl,

I’m afraid we can’t help you in this case as the “Products” section from analytics is supposed to get the info from the products exclusively.

Besides the “Revenue” section, the other one that could be helpful for you is the “Orders”. Both of them are meant to get all the info from the orders.

I was reading your question again and I had a different interpretation.

I believe that you consider that the cost column from the “Products” tab is correct and you just want the profit column to be calculated from the “gross revenue” and not “net revenue”, is that so?

    Pablo,

Thanks for your reply. I’d rather have the profit tab in “Products” calculated from the net, not the gross, revenue. Let’s just leave it be — I can look at the actual profit per product/sale in the revenue tab,

    No problem,

Ok, let’s leave it the way it is then 😉
