Issues after installation.

    Hi,

    I am merging over from using WooDiscuz – WooCommerce Comments after they no longer support it. But after install your plugin I don not get a input box on the discussions tab.

    These are the current settings.

    I am theme I’m using is https://themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-wordpress-ecommerce-theme/9207399

    I am also using the plugin review replies from this site.

    Lastly is there a way I can delete the old comment data from when I was using the WooDiscuz plugin because when I disabled it. The comments merged with my review data.

    Hi Brent,

    After install your plugin I don not get a input box on the discussions tab

    Please, try to switch your theme to Storefront and check if the tab is there. If it is, then most probably your theme is not compatible with the plugin.

    Lastly is there a way I can delete the old comment data from when I was using the WooDiscuz plugin

    I’m not sure how to delete old comment data from the WooDiscuz plugin, however, we have an option that can convert comments/reviews to discussion comments. The option is located at:

    • General > Editable comment meta on admin > Comment type conversion > Allow admin to convert discussions to reviews and vice versa

    After enabled, there will be 2 new options on the admin comments page: “Convert do discussion”, “Convert to review”.

    Hi sorry for late responds,

    Yes it seems to work fine with the storefront theme. Would you be able to help me get it working on Porto. Or point me in the right direction to try to debug the problem.

    Seems the issue is also related to turning on “Load comments via AJAX if the discussions tab is triggered” And I’ve made sure that Break comments has not been turned.

    Hi,

    From version 1.5.1 on, the AJAX option is now compatible with the Porto theme.
