There is the possibility of limiting the total quantity of unit items per user, for example:
I have product X and the user adds 2 units to the cart
I have product Y and the user adds 4 units to the cart.
the total items are 2 but the total units are 6, and I want to limit that the user can buy up to 5 units in a month.

Yes, our Maximum Products per User for WooCommerce can help you with this. After installing the plugin, you would need to follow the general instructions below:
In the ‘General’ section of the plugin’s settings, set the ‘Mode’ to ‘Product quantity. Configure the ‘Order statuses’ to the relevant order status you desire and set the ‘Date range’ to ‘This month’.’ Then go to the ‘Limits’ section and enable the ‘Per product tag’ option. Then assign all of your products to a particular tag, let’s say the tag name is “tagA”. Then go to “Products > Tags > tagA > edit page” and set the “Limit per user” to “5”
