Hi, we have been happily using Min Max Quantity plugin for the past two years. We sell fabric in parts of metres, and everything has been working exactly as we wanted.
But in the past week a few products are showing as out of stock when the stock reduces to less than 1 metre.
Meanwhile other products have less than 1 metre and are showing as in stock.
I have tried duplicating the product / creating a new product and these don’t fix the issue. I have tried increasing the stock to 1 and then it will return to show as ‘in stock’ but when I return it to 0.75 (or other decimal) it returns to being ‘out of stock’.
Do you have any suggestions on what might be causing this or how to fix this?
Many thanks, Tanya

Here is a screen shot from the backend showing two products that have <1 stock – the one at the top shows ‘in stock’ and the one at the bottom shows ‘out of stock’ – https://pasteboard.co/cpp84oC1Saj9.png

July 18, 2023 at 6:12 pm #120370Hello Tanya,
I have checked the screenshot and checked internally, but I didn’t find an issue.
Now I think it may appear because of some code from your active theme or some other active plugins.
Can you share your website access ( wp-admin and FTP access ) with [email protected], so I can help you to fix this issue?Thank you

MoshtafizurAugust 7, 2023 at 4:09 pm #121483Hello,
Kindly update the plugin to its latest release. Afterwards, navigate to the editing screen within the admin for the product that is displaying an incorrect “Out of Stock” status. Simply click the “Update” button and check.
This should hopefully resolve your issue.Regards

WPFactory SupportAugust 10, 2023 at 1:13 am #121633Tanya CollierParticipantHi Kousik,
I updated the plugin and it changed all (3000+) fabric listings to the nearest whole number and although it still allows people to purchase incremental units (ie 0.25m of fabric) it removes an entire 1m from inventory and shows 0m on the invoice.
I reverted to the previous version of our website/plugins with a backup, however given the new wordpress update, my system will automatically update all plugins, including your updated plugin.
Is there any chance you can kill the current update so this doesn’t happen until you have fixed the issue?
Kind regards,
Tanya

August 18, 2023 at 6:56 pm #122111Hello Adam,
We are excited to inform you that a new version of this plugin has been released. We kindly request you to give this new version a try.
Afterwards, please proceed to the editing screen within the admin panel for the product that is currently displaying an incorrect “Out of Stock” status. All you need to do is click the “Update” button and verify the changes.
For variable products where this issue is occurring, please follow these steps: navigate to the edit page, open any variation, adjust the stock quantity, and then hit the “Update” button.
We believe that these steps will resolve the issue for you. However, if the issue persists, kindly share more details along with a sample URL and provide us with wp-admin access. If possible, providing access to a staging site would be greatly appreciated. You can send this information to [email protected], and we will thoroughly test and rectify the issue for you.
