    Hi Tim,

Which type of barcode are you printing – is it 1D or 2D?

If it’s a 1D barcode – please make sure that “Barcode height” option in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > Print > Barcode Options” is set to a higher number, e.g. 30 (as it’s a height of a single bar element in pixels).

If it’s a 2D barcode, then “2D barcode height” option (in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > Print > 2D Barcode Options”) is usually the same as “2D barcode width”, e.g. 3 (as in this case, it’s a height of a single rectangle element in pixels).

If that doesn’t help – would it be possible to log in to your site to check what’s going on (my email is [email protected])? Please let me know if sharing an account is not an option, and I will continue solving it remotely.

    Hi Tim,

I’ve logged in to your site and hopefully managed to figure out where the problem is.

So first of all, I’ve set barcode width and height settings in the “Print” settings section as described earlier.

Then I tested it with some of your products, and it outputted “normal” barcodes only for products with valid EAN. The problem is that some of your product EANs are set to e.g. 4 digit numbers, which is not valid EAN for the type you’ve selected in the “General” section (i.e. “Automatic (EAN-13, UPC-A, EAN-8)”). To fix this, I’ve changed “Type” option in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > General” to “CODE 128”. This type allows basically any format, so EANs are considered valid now. And it seems to be printing it fine now.

So to sum up – you have two options: either set “Type” to “CODE 128”, or, if you want it to be “Automatic (EAN-13, UPC-A, EAN-8)”, ensure that all your products have valid EANs.

Please give it a try and let me know what you think.
