Hi There,
Product Addons is a great feature, but for us when it is activated it adds 20-30 seconds to new order creation at checkout.
This is of course too long and customers beleive the website is broken etc.
Can you advise if this is a known issue?

Yes it’s the Cost of Goods Plugin, when I activate “Enable compatibility with Product Add-Ons by WooCommerce ”
It adds 20-30 seconds to new order creation, ie. before the Order Complete/Thank You page is shown.
When this option is not selected, order creation is a completed in a few seconds.
This initially prevented us from using the cost of goods plugin, but now we are just not using the Product Addons Compatibility, but really need this to work properly. Thank you!

Are you currently using this plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/? If so, please make sure to enable the option “Enable compatibility with Product Add-Ons by WooCommerce.”
Otherwise, you may keep that option deactivated.
