Hello,
i wrote a private note in a product page and added images and rich text elements (bold, italic and image) but they do not display that way when they appear in the Order Details page.

Sorry for the late reply.
By “Order Details page” you mean admin order edit page, correct? If that’s the case – you are right, we are escaping HTML there, which means that instead of:
… this is a test note in bold…
you will see:
… this is a test note in <strong>bold</strong>…
Let me try to add some options to make this behavior customizable in our plugin. Will get back to you soon.

I wasn’t able to make the final release today, however, I did finish your task. I’ve just sent you the newest plugin version (v2.7.0-dev) via WeTransfer. After the update, please go to “WooCommerce > Settings > Product Notes > Advanced” and uncheck the new “Formatting Options > Escape HTML > Admin orders: Private notes” checkbox there.
Please give it a try and let me know if it’s working as expected.
Hello Tom, it’s working like a charm and i could not be happier about the way you handled it.
What about audio notes? i tried importing audio from whatsapp and it displayed normally in the product page but only showed a link in the admin order product page. Is it possible to embed an audio recorder right where you create the written note?

Regarding audio notes – not sure if I understood it correctly, but do you mean that you see something like this on your admin order page:
[audio mp3="http://example.com/example.mp3"][/audio]
If that’s the case – I’ve just sent you a new plugin version via WeTransfer. After the update please go to “WooCommerce > Settings > Product Notes > Advanced” and enable the new “Formatting Options > Process shortcodes > Admin orders: Private notes” checkbox there.

the escape HTML field was already unchecked from the previous time you fixed the formating. However after updating the plugin, audio files still don’t display.

Could you please recheck – you need to enable the “Process shortcodes” checkbox (not disable the “Escape HTML”).
